Story

Well I got there - a very sedate 3:56 this time - dodgy finish proof photo opposite. Why did I do it?

A wonderful and very dear friend of mine, Seaton Kennerley, on the left in the photo, died in June 2010 aged just 43. In his memory, I'm running in 2012 to raise much needed funds for the Oesophagogastric Department at The Christie, which provides a specialised service to patients with all forms of stomach and gastric cancers, whilst incorporating access to many cutting edge trials.

Please support this great cause by sponsoring me - every penny helps.

All the money already donated has gone directly to The Christie and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

There's still time to donate!!!

Thanks, Pete
