120 children in the UK, just like my daughter. She used to be able to walk but is now wheelchair dependant, has an immunue system that does not work, difficulty with speech & swallowing, difficulty coordinating hand and body movements, and is prone to chest and other infections.   A young active brain in a progressively degenerative body, a terminal condition and on top of this she is highly prone to getting certain cancers.   PLEASE HELP - The Society provide information and help for sufferers & their families, information for medical professionals, their work is so valuable.  The research is linked to other more well known conditions such as brain degenerative disorders, certain cancers and more.  More information about the Society is available on www.atsociety.org.uk.
