Glastonbury Festival Pyramid Abseil · 20 September 2014 to 21 September 2014 ·

SOS Africa invests 100% of all donations in the education & care of disadvantaged South African children with regular feedback to sponsors. Since 2003 the grassroots charity has provided children from the ages of 5-18 with education, care and learning support programmes tailored to their needs.

Story

The opportunity arose to throw myself 100ft off the top of the Pyramid stage to raise money for a great cause - so I signed up. And I'm dragging Ben down with me.

Our target is a relatively small £400 (but it will make a HUGE difference) so I'm hoping we bust that with your kind generosity. In return we will send you a video of us squealing like little girls - or you could even come and watch us headline the Pyramid stage at 5pm on 20th September as Dread Zeppelin.

The money will go towards the development of the SOS Africa Aftercare Centre, providing care for children after school, homework help, support and additional lessons and mentoring. The wellbeing of these vulnerable children would be in jeopardy without this support because of the dangerous environments they face on a daily basis. It's very topical at the moment.... you know the situation.
