Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This September I'm running the Great North Run, which is a half-marathon, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

My family has a long and sad history of heart disease, a heart attack killed my Grandad, and last year my Uncle suffered from his first heart attack. Luckily the right people were on-hand to keep him alive.

So I'm running for my family, especially for my Dad and my Uncle. But I'm also running for the 2.7 million people in the UK who live with heart disease, and for the 1 in every 145 babies that is born with a congenital heart disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please have a heart, dig deep and donate now.
