My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the DrivingwithDogs JustGiving page.
No-one expects to find themselves homeless. It's not something you plan for. Yet even when every material comfort has been lost, some people still manage to love and look after their pet dogs - often putting the dog's welfare above their own.
St Mungos is one of the few charities that helps homeless people and their dogs to get back on their feet. They have a clinic where vets give dogs living on the streets their annual injections, worming pills and other needed care.
The DwD team, Lezli and David, will be dog sledding over 200km in 6 days to raise funds for St Mungos. We'll be doing the ultimate walkies in sub-zero arctic temperatures, with the help of a dozen Huskies so it'll be quite a challenge!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
