Drydens has an active social and charity committee made up of staff volunteers and supported by several senior members of the management team. Each year the committee asks for nominations on which charity the staff wish to support and everyone has a casting vote. This year we chose Alzheimers – a charity close to our hearts as it affects one of our valued team members Liz Walmsley. Liz explains (click "read more"):
“Both my Aunty & Uncle have been suffering from Alzheimers for the last few years. This debilitating disease causes not only memory loss, but difficulty with everyday tasks, such as cooking, dressing and communication. Sufferers become upset and frustrated by the disease and being unable to do things we all take for granted. My Aunty and Uncle are lucky to have a supportive and caring family to help them, however, others aren't so lucky. Please dig deep and support our charity skydive so we can all help Alzheimers sufferers and their carers with much needed assistance, education and support.”
Thank you!
