Story
originally planned to run, ok crawl, a FULL marathon in Myanmar in November 2020 and Winchester Half marathon 2019 was the planned warm up!
I was actually diagnosed with a ruptured disc prior to Winchester but still managed to slowly and surely complete the course.. my goodness winch is hilly!!!
Due to the pandemic Myanmar wasn't an option 2020 and I deferred to this year, guess what, covid-19 struck again!
So... I signed up for Cancer Research's #BigHike in the Peak District.
just 2 months ago I was diagnosed with a 2nd ruptured disc so this was no easy walk but I've done it and I think I'm motivated to continue the miles!! Reggie the ruptured disc and his new found pal, yet to be named) can come along as they seemed to both enjoy the walk snd behaved well!
Thanks for supporting my fundraising!
