Story
Realtime updates:
1. Our first session in a boat, we say 'our' but Duggy was nowhere to be seen. I have discovered I can paddle but not steer. 28.02.12
2. Dale is in Egypt 'training' hard on a pedalo. I finally got in a canoe, I was told I was a natural, but at what I am not sure. I too can paddle but not steer. 03.03.12
3. Finally trained together - what a disaster! Covered 3 miles in two hours against our target of 5 mph! Now looking at Kayaks for the challenge and getting down the gym! 12.03.12
4. Decision made - Kayaks it is! Now Dale is putting his negotiating skills to the test to get us a good deal or even just some boats in time.
5. A break from Kayaking to wash some cars in the office carpark. 42 cars washed in one day and over £300 raised.
6. Great day today, 5 of us out in Kayaks! 8 miles paddled, through two locks and confidence sky high. 1 week to go before we set out, now to start planning our kit.

This time last year we slept outside in the office carpark to raise money for Comic Relief, barely surviving the sub zero temperatures. This year we have upped the game, and not only will we be sleeping outside, we will aslo be attempting to canoe the Thames.
On 24th March we set sail and, if all goes to plan, three days later we will arrive in Windsor having paddled over 100 miles, navigated 34 locks and hopefully not fallen in.
We are raising money for Sports Relief, an amazing charity that we have both been lucky enough to work closely with and witness first hand how they have made a real difference to people's daily lives. We hope that through this challenge we can inspire you to give a little and help us raise money to allow them to continue their vital work.
Thank you for your support
