Story

WOW AGAIN! We've had to raise the target again - Surely we can't make it to £1,000... Can we?

----------------------------------------------------

WOW! Thanks to your generosity we've had to double our target. Let's see if we can get to £800!

Thanks

We were inspired to run the Brum half marathon to raise money for the Birmingham women's hospital when we saw the fantastic work that they do to look after both premature babies and their families at first hand. The care that they gave little Aaron, Sam and Mike when Aaron made his entrance into the world over two months early was fantastic.

To date, the longest run we've managed is a 10 mile run around the hills of Yorkshire so we are well on our way. However the battle to get ourselves fit enough to run 13.1miles has not been easy and we have suffered a wide range of ailments including bleeding nipples, sore feet, and pulled hamstrings!

We'd be really grateful if you can dig deep and donate to such a worthwhile cause. National Grid will double the donations up to £400 so every extra pound really will go a long way.
