Thank you so much for visiting this justgiving page - if it is before the party we all hope you will have a great time, and if it after the event on march 7th then may you have fond memories. Many of our friends might have expected us to choose a medical charity like the Heart Foundation, but the Forces Childrens' Trust is every bit as valuable and it work is understated. Your donation will help to enhance the lives of children who have lost their fathers or mothers serving their country in Iraq or Afghanistan. These soldiers, many younger than our own kids, have been doing a job that is unimaginably difficult, in a hostile environment and with inadequate resources. Whatever we may individually think about the rights and wrongs of the hostilities, none of us could have  failed to be touched by the bravery of these young soldiers, and moved to tears by the scenes in Wooton Bassett that have haunted our TV screens. The work that Denny and his colleagues is doing to support the bereaved children is amazing.
