Hi Everyone,

I have finally got a place in the London Marathon. I am using my place to raise funds for Macmillan, a charity that provides fantastic care and support for people affected by cancer.

All donations will be gratefully received and will go to a very good cause. If you would prefer to wait until I have actually completed the marathon then I completely understand and I look forward to your donation after 17 April!

I will let you know how I get on, the training is progressing well at the moment (20th February - 8 weeks to go!)
