A few months ago my 90 year old father died. In his last weeks a lot of people cared for him, I really don't know how they did it. I saw this charity event and thought, well here's a chance for me to pay a few people back.  So please sponsor me as I abseil 160 ft down Guildford Cathedral.

In Surrey there are over 100,000 people providing unpaid care for relatives or friends who have serious disabilities. Many of them are on call "24/7", sometimes for years on end. This can be a real drain on the carer's physical and mental health. Crossroads Care Surrey is the leading provider of support for carers in the county.
