My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As a team we will be raising money for the The Spitalfields Crypt Trust. We will be running one of the trust's charity shops for a day on the 15th of December. The idea of the day is to do whatever we can to increase the shop's daily takings, there is also the added incentive of competing against 3 other Linklaters' teams who will be running the trust's other charity shops on the same day.

We will also be doing a range of innovative fundraising activities before the event. This page will be updated with information about these shortly.

The trust has been working in East London since 1965. The central aim is to offer a range of high-quality support, rehabilitation and training services, to people facing problems of homelessness, alcohol, drugs, poverty or social isolation.

Services include a daily drop-in centre, a rehabilitation hostel, a therapy programme based largely upon Alcoholics Anonymous, two third-stage move-on homes, a training and education centre, and five charity shops. Their core objective central to each of these activities is "putting lives back together".

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We very much appreciate your donations!
