EAST Furniture & Interiors' Movember campaign is a charity project raising funds in aid of Project Aware. 11 participants will be competing for the Mo Trophy by growing full beards from 1st Movember until 10th December.
THE COMPETITION:
11 Participants will be taking part in the event. Each Mo Bro has to have a clean shave on the evening of the 31st October and will be photographed on the morning of the 1st Movember.
Here's were EAST has a twist to the regular rules... (found on www.movember.com)
The brothers will then grow full beards during the month of Movember, no shaving is allowed at any point during the month.
Donations will be gathered using the online site www.justgiving.com/EAST-movember to MOtivate the participants.
On the 30th Movember each participant will head to their respective grooming parlors to have their Mo carved out.
2 rules apply:
- No facial hair allowed under the lower lip
- Mo cannot join the burns
From 1st December until 9th December hands on fund raising will take place in Phuket with the Mo Bros visiting local businesses, drinking holes and other locations collecting donations.
Final judging will take place at the EAST Furniture & Interiors staff party being held at Nai Yang Beach, Phuket.
The panel will consist of Mo Sistas from the EAST administration department and the winner will receive a spectacular trophy and the ultimate respect of being the Movember winner 2011!!

We’re focusing in on two major ocean issues –Sharks in Peril and Marine Debris, or trash in our ocean. Truly, there are many conservation issues converging on our ocean planet at once, but we’re concentrating on these serious problems where scuba divers are uniquely positioned to directly and positively affect real, long-term change in these two areas.
