Whizz Kidz provides young wheelchair users with the equipment and skills they need to live life as independently as possible, at home, at school, at work and beyond.

Story

Let’s raise £100,000 to transform the lives of disabled kids

In less than a month I’m running the London Marathon for a second time in support of Whizz-Kidz and Action for Stammering Children.

We only need to raise another £31,317 to exceed the amazing milestone of £100,000.

This would enable Whizz-Kidz to transform the lives of disabled children across the UK.

Please show your support for Whizz-Kidz by clicking Donate in the box above.

Your sponsorship could help to fund:

 ·         £21 could pay for a disabled child to receive one hour of wheelchair skills training, providing vital skills and confidence and enabling them to fully participate in school and play.

·         £58 could pay for a disabled child to receive a full day’s work experience.  These are crucial stepping stones to enabling the young people to achieve their dreams of independent living.

 ·         £100 could pay for a disabled child to attend a full day of life-skills training, developing social skills and making friends.

 ·         £175 could pay for an assessment by our expert mobility therapists to decide on a bespoke piece of life changing equipment for a disabled child.

 ·         £249 could pay for a child to complete a full course of wheelchair skills training, providing vital skills and confidence and enabling them to fully participate in school and play.

 ·         £1000 could pay for a brand new bespoke trike or 25% of a powered wheelchair – the ultimate gift to transforming the life and future of a disabled child.

Thanks so much for your support.
