Story

On the weekend of 19 and 20 September a group of 16 EDM lawyers from the London office of Linklaters reached the summit of Mulhacén in the Sierra Nevada range to raise money for the Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

The hospice has given invaluable support to Nick and Katie Hayday and to their son Joshua over the last few months and to many other families in similar circumstances. EDM aims to raise at least £10,000 to help the hospice continue with its work.

The Highest (Mountain): this year's gruelling challenge saw the team reaching the summit of Mulhacén, the highest peak in continental Spain and the highest peak in Europe outside the Caucasus Mountains and the Alps (3481m).

The Finest (Team): Paul Alexander, Anna Biggin, Caroline Buckridge, Ross Clements, Graeme Dickson, Neil Dixon, Jonathan Fried, Arwen Joyce, Elaine Keats, Richard Levy, Arjun Muddu, Rory Renshaw, Pam Shores, Mark Tissot, Carson Welsh and Ricky Wong.

All donations will be gratefully received.

Many thanks, EDM Challenge Team 2009
