Story

Team Killik 2014 ! Help us help Variety, the children in need

12th October 2014 - The Royal Parks Half Marathon - London! Last event of 2014 complete!!

23rd-30th March: The Cape Epic 718km Mountain Bike Race...17 th May: Ironman Lanzarote....1st June: Comrades Ultra Marathon 90KM. South Africa Please support us as we undertake to raise vital funds for Variety, the children's charity and JAG Foundation in South Africa.
We have committed to raising £30,000 in 2014 to purchase a Sunshine Coach for Woodlands Special Needs School in Gillingham.

Students have a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, chromosomal abnormalities, gastrostomies, tracheostomies and oxygen dependency.  The Sunshine Coach will be used for social and educational trips out, for opportunities to provide learning environments for children with behavioural and sensory integration difficulties. This will cost us over £26,000

We are also raising £3,000 to purchase a Eclipse Trainer Tricycle for Sharna-Marie McGinn, an 11 year old girl from Maidstone who has complex medical needs and associated mobility and sensory issues.

Finally, we are donating funds to the JAG Foundation in South Africa, to support their Anti-Bullying 2014 Campaig. The JAG Foundation uses sport as the medium to teach children to engage in physical activity, absorbing its values and benefits, in order to produce holistically healthy individuals who believe in themselves and their future.

Please support our cause. 100% of funds raised will go to these very deserving causes. We are covering all the costs of these events on a personal capacity, ensuring each and every pound creates an ever lasting impact.

Our commitment to you is to keep you updated on our progress and to let you know when we have purchased the Sunshine Coach and Trainer Tricycle for Sharna-Marie McGinn.

Please help us make a serious and long lasting IMPACT on the lives of these children. Thank you!
