I am currently engaged in fund raising on behalf of Whitewell Metropolitan hospice for sick children, in Nyeri Kenya. I have been to Kenya three times in the last four years, the first time being in October 2007. I was assisting in the distribute of food and wheelchairs in several towns around Kenya. On October 2009 we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest in Africa, then traveled back to the hospice in Kenya. It's very hard to pu into words what it's like in Kenya, the need is so great! All the money that will be raised will go directly to the hospice. This trip to Everest base camp on 21st October is an other opportunity to raise funds and Help in some small way.
