In Mid-August I will be taking part in the East to West challenge which is a 600 mile cycle over six days from the East of England to the West of Ireland with a group of #NearNakedMen (please see the pictures for an explanation...). So far this summer I have taken part in a Trail Half Marathon in South Downs, the first leg of the Welsh Bounce (107 mile cycle from Bath to Porthcawl, Wales) and the Paris Open Olympic Distance Triathlon. All that was to prepare for the most challenging part yet - the Balls Out East to West Challenge which is the fantastic brainchild of the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign (MCAC). 

Some of you may have heard about these crazy antics, but most of you probably haven't. Which is why I would really appreciate your help for the biggest challenge yet. I have a target to reach in terms of funds, but more importantly I want to raise awareness about prostate, bowel and testicular cancer which unfortunately is rife within the generation of young men I am part of, as well as many of our mates. The aim of MCAC is banish the 'culture of embarrassment' surrounding Male Cancer in young men and encourage them to discuss the matter with each other and resolve those issues surrounding the intimate parts of their body to increase the chances of early detection.
