Story

Gipton Red Watch are carrying out several sponsored events in order to raise money for children`s cancer charities. The first of these events is going to be a full body wax taking place on Saturday the 9th of June 1900 at the Highwayman at Sheriff Hutton where F.F Earl Bussue, Dannial Baig and Shabba Khan have kindly volunteered.

In the following months four other firefighters from Gipton are taking part in a tough mudder team race over 12 miles of gruelling obstacles.

We send this E-mail asking any other station if they are kindly willing to donate to what we believe is a very good cause. Pictures and updates of up and coming events will be made available.

Jamie Inglis is a beautiful and very charismatic 6yr old little boy suffering from relapsed Neuroblastoma. This is a very aggressive type of cancer that affects over 100 young children and babies a year. Young Jamie has been fighting this aggressive childhood cancer since he was 3 and a half.

Jamie at the moment is having radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and keep the disease under control. There is no protocol in the UK for relapsed Neuroblastoma, therefore his parents need to raise £250K for treatment in Germany, this is his only chance of survival.

The NHS will not pay for this treatment and without it, Jamie will die.

This is why Gipton Red Watch are trying to raise funds for his lifesaving treatment.

Thanks for taking the time to read this E-mail and a link for donations is attached at the bottom of the page.

Many thanks.

Gipton Red Watch.

So please dig deep and donate now.
