Maggie's Centres - London Night Hike 20 Miles · 17 September 2010 ·

Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places built alongside NHS hospitals that provide the support that people with cancer and their family and friends need. www.maggiescentres.org

Story

Walk for their lives!

For the second consecutive year, a team of LED lighting specialists made up of employees from Architainment Lighting, Philips Lighting and EcoSense Lighting will hike a gruelling 20 miles through London in aid of Maggie’s Centres, a charity that provides care and support to those affected by cancer, including sufferers, their family and friends.

The charity helps to enable people to cope with the emotional stress and feelings of helplessness that a cancer diagnosis brings. They provide courses in managing stress, relaxation and nutrition to boost the immune system and aid recovery. The centres give reliable advice and sources of information for anyone affected by cancer, in a caring environment.

The invaluable service is provided free of charge and we therefore need your help to raise money for their continued success. Please give as generously as you are able to, it means so much to Maggie’s Centres and the team.

We need your support to help motivate us through the aches and pains, so if we could ask you to dig deep, it would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
