The Mazda London Triathlon 2009 · 1 August 2009 ·

Small Steps supports young children with physical disabilities from London and beyond. We teach parents of children with cerebral palsy and other forms of motor and sensory impairment, to help their child maximise their independence. Small Steps is 100% charity funded and our sessions are free.

Story

My Daddy's doing the London olympic distance triathlon this year - so that's a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run.  He's got his wetsuit ready; he's borrowed Uncle Barnaby's bike and he's put elasticated shoelaces on his trainers.  He's even been swimming in the Serpentine with the geese.  So he's ready to go.

He's doing all of this in aid of Small Steps School for Parents, which is a little school that I go to every Wednesday morning with Mummy.  Small Steps provides help for children with special needs aged 0-5 years.  It teaches the mummys and daddys of children with cerebral palsy, and other forms of motor and sensory impairment, how to help their child develop basic skills - looking, listening, sitting and walking.  I love it!

We really appreciate your support!
