As some of you will already know I am attempting to walk from Ulverston to Carlisle along the Cumbria way from 20 to 25 July.  This is a 70 mile journey which passes South to North through the heart of the Lake District, and involves walking between 12 and 18 miles each day for five consecutive days.  For more details on the walk visit http://www.thecumbriaway.info/. 

So as to make sure I don't give up and of course to raise money for charity I'm asking for sponsorship for the World Land Trust, a charity that funds the purchase and protection of important wildlife habitats as nature reserves worldwide.
