When I learned about one of my colleagues who's daughter has Dravet's syndrome, it resonated with me because she is around the same age as my own daughter. Knowing how difficult it is to raise a child anyway, the added stresses of such an illness must put massive strain on the family. I wanted to help raise awareness, and a hopefully a little money to go towards making a difference.
