Story
As many of you know, I've been training for the Olympic distance London triathlon. It's a 1.5km open water swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run. I've been swimming in the Serpentine, cycling round the park and running to and from work in preparation.
I'm raising money for a charity called Small Steps, which provides vital assistance for children with special needs aged 0-5 years. It teaches parents of children with cerebral palsy, and other forms of motor and sensory impairment (including Down Syndrome), how to help their child develop basic skills - looking, listening, sitting and walking.
Iris (who'll be 3 in August!) has been going to Small Steps since she was six months old. Small Steps therapy is like no other - it's completely child-centred and fun. Iris adores it - Small Steps Thursday is her favourite day of the week. It's a truly wonderful charity doing amazing work.
