Haven House Children's Hospice provides the best possible life for every baby, child and young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families, who live in our local communities.

Story

I first got involved with Haven House Children’s Hospice as a result of their partnership with Matchroom Sports - Haven House is the Professional Darts Corporation's chosen charity.

Haven House Children's Hospice provides specialist care for children and young people (birth-19) who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood. It provides a range of support to families; including day, short break and end-of-life care, as well as a number of services designed to improve emotional wellbeing, both in the hospice and in the local community.

Over the past 3 years, I have followed the work that Haven House does for the children and their families across North and East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire. The PDC has raised over £150,000 so far for Haven House– a phenomenal amount of money. But now I’ve been offered an opportunity to help add to that by raising funds through running the London Marathon. Each year, Haven House needs to raise over £2m – so please be generous and help me reach (if not exceed) my £2000 Marathon target.

Thanks, Eddie
