Well my mid-life crisis is getting into its stride as I head towards 50 at the end of October. To mark the occasion I’m aiming to raise £5,000 for Martin House hospice for children and young people – a fantastic facility worth supporting. To get started, I climbed 2 Munros (hills above 3000 feet) in mid July – managing to get horribly lost and rescued by a sheep farmer on Day 1 – GOOD START!!!! After that it’s the Coast to Coast by bike – 190 miles between St Bees and Robin Hood’s bay in August before doing the Castleton 10k fell run on 12 September. Cup of cocoa and slippers out after that…

I hope you can support me by giving a donation through my JustGiving web page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Cheers!
