Well my mid-life crisis is getting into its stride as I head towards 50 at the end of October. To mark the occasion I’m aiming to raise £5,000 for Martin House hospice for children and young people – a fantastic facility worth supporting. To get started, I climbed 2 Munros (hills above 3000 feet) in mid July – managing to get horribly lost and rescued by a sheep farmer on Day 1 – GOOD START!!!! After that it’s the Coast to Coast by bike – 190 miles between St Bees and Robin Hood’s bay in August before doing the Castleton 10k fell run on 12 September. Cup of cocoa and slippers out after that…
