Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.

Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Both Rich and I have decided to use this run to support this charity and tackle this terrible illness that has affected both our families as well as those of many of our friends.

We are not professional athletes, just two bald middle aged men with severely battered bodies and unerring desire to test those bodies to the maximum. This is our first (and only) marathon. Our aim is to finish and if we can raise a few pounds to support this charity then all the better.
