The Edinburgh Team Bhutan Challenge 2007 comprises me, Sheryl, Jacqui, Joanna, Alison, Sabine, Gail and John. Training has been fantastic fun (usually - do ask about our experience on the Fife Coastal Path!) and we have all trained hard for our treks.
During this year of training and fundraising we have all met some amazing teenagers who are fighting cancer with such strength, determination and optimism. We might moan a little bit about how tough training has been or how tough the treks are going to be, but we all know that compared to enduring chemotherapy or radiotherapy, sometimes for years, our trials and tribulations amount to nothing.
we all feel privileged to be able to do this trek, lucky that we can and proud of our fundraising and awareness raising.

ps we have all completed our treks - and are still here to tell the tales! we had wonderful experiences (ok, and one or two 'interesting' experiences) and are all glad we have been to the incredibly beautiful country of Bhutan.
