Harwell Vet Centre's charity efforts for 2015 will publicise and raise money for Canine Partners.The primary fund raising event will be Edmund's Parish Walk on June 20th.This RACE around the Isle of Man attracts over a thousand walkers each year.Many aim only to reach Peel,so of the 1,396 who started when Edbanger competed in 2009 only 187 finished the full circuit of 85 miles.Despite a pulled muscle at 55 miles,the 69 year old vet came 17th in a time of 17 hours,51minutes,8 seconds.That was enough to win a trophy for "best first time finish by a visiting walker",a non age-related award.This year Edmund was the oldest ever finisher at 76yo, coming 76-175 finishers in 20:53:44
