On 28th June 2014, eight intrepid adventurers (Edd Cowgill, Raph Berwitz, Rick Cowgill, Ben McDougall, Colin Newell, Dan Smith, Stu Mathers& Alex Mills - aka "Team Rat") will be stepping aboard a fine sea worthy vessel, with one goal....Row from Ambleside to Fellfoot and back - a bum numbing 21 miles. There'll be thrills, spills & badly placed blisters on their epic journey, but it's all for an awesome cause - St. Gemma's Hospice, Leeds.

St Gemma's provides specialist medical and nursing care for people with life threatening illnesses, predominantly cancer, along with support for their families, in the In-Patient Unit, by the community care nurses, in the Day Hospice, or as an Out-Patient.
