Sian Emily Wood died on August 25th 2010, at the age of 24, after a long and brave battle with illness.  She was the centre of a diverse and adoring network of family and friends, who miss her deeply now that she is gone.

Memories of her laughter, cups of tea and bowls of popcorn will be cherished eternally by those who remain.

Sian lived her life in defiance of constant challenges and frustrations with fierce independence and an indomitable spirit, constantly surpassing the expectations of those around her.  Her determination has inspired many of those who knew her to live life head on;
