Story

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my page.

Each year, babies are born in the UK missing part of one or both arms and hands. Added to these are a small number of children who lose limbs or parts of limbs due to traumatic incidents or necessary surgery. For many of the families of these children it is the first time that they will have come across such a disability.

'Reach' provides the opportunity to get together with other families to share experiences and information about what to do (or not to do) and where to go for advice regarding treatment and to help families realise that they are not alone.

This is my second trek to help with their fund-raising and as before I will definitely be pushing myself beyond my usual comfort zone! As a small charity, donations are essential for the work to continue. I am funding the full cost of the trek so all of your donation will go to funding this vital work (excluding a small deduction by Justgiving).

I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
