Thank you for taking the time to visit Our JustGiving page.
We've joined together to attend The London to Paris Cycle Ride and raise money for The Royal Hospital Neuro-Disability.
Our dearest brother/friend- 24 years old Tomasz Baranowski was involved in unprovoked attack in May last year and as a result, he sustained a major brain injury and we almost lost him.
Now- after a few months in a coma, Tomasz is starting to respond to us. Unfortunately his condition is not good and will take years for him to have normal life, probably with some disabilities till the end of his life.
So far he has been rehabilitated by his mum (who has left everything back in Poland and come to England without any knowledge of the English language), by his sister Marta and friends.
Tomasz recently has been moved to The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability, where he will be receiving rehabilitation provided by the excellent doctors and nurses. That is the main reason why we- Marta (Tomasz's sister) and Edyta (their friend) decided to take part in London- Paris Cycle Ride and raise money for Tomasz's hospital.
The target to take part in this race is £2800, which is only a drop in the ocean of the amount needed every year to keep the hospital running.
The most important thing for us is not to go for a ride, but to raise as much money as we can to help hospital, where hopefully Tomasz will recover quickly and have his own life put back on track...
Thank you for your support!
Marta&Edy
