Eirian Hughes' (nee Siggs) page

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I love being an Aunty, particularly as you can give them back, and feel really lucky to have a nephew Daniel and two nieces Ella and Harriet. Uncle Simon and I were really looking forward to the arrival of another niece or nephew in March.
Jacob Hughes was born in Haverfordwest on Thursday 15th March 2012, a brother to Ella and son to very proud parents Mike and Andrea.
Uncle Simon and I planned to go straight to Haverfordwest from Bristol on the 16th March to join in the celebrations.
Jacob had other ideas and due to a very rare heart condition he was rushed up to intensive care at Bristol Children's hospital late on the 16th March.
Jacob has been in intensive care since then and has shown us all that he is a fighter.
The doctors, nurses and hospital have been fantastic with their care. The facilities are excellent and even though it is a walk up a very steep hill the family accomodation for Mike, Andrea and Ella at the Ronald McDonald house is much appreciated.
The Grand Appeal supports the children's hospital in many ways and helped to set up the Ronald McDonald accomodation that has been so important.
I would love to be able to make Jacob better and get him back to his home and family in Haverfordwest where he belongs, but I can't. What I can do is pull my finger out and do some running to raise money for The Grand Appeal.
So please donate what ever you can to help out this amazing charity, every small amount does help and helps so many families not just our little branch of Hughes.
Thankyou very much.
