One of the unique qualities of the Lady Fatemah Trust is that it operates on zero administration costs ie every penny that you donate will go to the project that you nominate. It focuses on Microfinance, Education, Medical treatment, Disability Rehabilitation, Water projects and disaster relief.

Story

There are an estimated 4 million orphans in Iraq, a result of Saddam's massacres, the West's sanctions (which killed at least 1/2 a million children) and then the Invasion and Occupation by the USA and her allies and the terrorism which then followed. But what I saw wasn't a nation distraught, but one still full of hope, evidenced by their determination to vote in elections for a better future despite the violence they face doing so. I also saw a nation with a fantastic sense of humour, still ready to laugh after (and sometimes at) everything it has been through.

I want to do what little I can to help and you can help me do so. What better way than seeing me and my big mouth falling out of a plane at 13,000 feet?

You'll go to heaven if you help orphans. And if you don't believe in heaven you'll get good karma in this life before your eternity of torment in the fires of hell.

So give what you can.

'Don't be ashamed of giving a little, as it is better than giving nothing' - Imam Ali (as).

But don't be tight and give a little. Give a lot.
