Story

For those of you who have donated off and online - thank you so much.  Well I have actually done it and what a fantastic challenge it was.  The Stage 3 riders and the core group are an inspiration, alongside the brilliant support team we had with us everyday.  I will take with me for the rest of my life the determination and kindness everyone showed throughout the four days - I really couldn't have done it without those people around me.  That's why we need to raise so much money for these charities.  Without our help they can't achieve what they need too.  Please donate if you haven't already - every little helps! www.dallagliocycleslam.com

On the 12th February, Lawrence Dallaglio and friends started cycling from Rome to Murrayfield. This is a 2800 km cycling challenge, taking place during the Six Nations tournament, visiting Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff and Dublin along the way. The objective is to raise money for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which supports some excellent charities including, Cancer Research UK, Leukaemia Research, DebRA, Help for Heroes and the PRA Benevolent Fund .

I’ll be joining Lawrence and a team from Greene King in Paris to take part in the challenge by cycling the 442 km Paris-Twickenham stage.  The ride will take 4 days (23nd-26th Feb 2010) so I’ll have to be pretty fit to achieve it!

My commitment is to raise at least £1,000 towards the chosen charities and I want to raise even more and that's why I really need your help to be able to do this.  So if you can help me that would be absolutely fantastic.

I also appreciate that times are tough and little requests from people like me can be inconvenient but if I can get a contribution from everyone I know we will be well on the way to helping these charities and the brilliant work they achieve.

Thank you so much

Elaine
