The Queens Nursing Institute is an amazing charitable orgnisation that recognises and supports Nurses in the Community to be Leaders in Innovative Projects. I was fortunate enough to be supported by the QNI in 2002 to start a project. The project is still running in Hillingdon where I am based, meeting the needs of children in the community and the project has also extended nationally.

I am now a Queens Nurse and able to share my passion for supporting projects in School Nursing. I have long been devoted to ensure School Nurses meet the health needs of school age children.

The QNI supports Community Projects for all Nurse disciplines including School Nursing and others such as District Nursing and Health Visiting who believe in community care innovation and the best quality care possible for nursing at home. The energy and passion I had when I started Nursing in 1975 is still with me and I believe it is the same with all the other Queens Nurses I am lucky enough to share time with when we meet.
