Baxters Loch Ness Marathon 2009 · 4 October 2009 ·

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I attempted to run my first (& likely last) marathon on 4th October on the banks of Loch Ness. I'm delighted to say that I completed the race in 5 hours 36 minutes and ran most of the way. Donations are still welcome - call it a reward! Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far and to those who made the journey to support on the day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for whatever you can give - it will make a difference!
