On 4 October 2009 I will be running the Felixstowe half marathon to raise money for our project in Burkina Faso. The amazing thing is that everything you donate will be quadrupled by the European Union.
All the money will go to a group of churches in a poor northern region of the country who are helping 88,000 villagers cope with climate change. They will be supplying vital seeds and equipment.
As I write this our friend from church, Melissa Ilboudo, is in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, where 150,000 people have fled their homes because of flooding.
Her people are in the middle of climate change disaster now.
Please join me in caring them them.
