<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><strong>THE ROMFORD ROAD RUNNERS</strong> need your help and support for the Edridge Fund!</span> <br> <br><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">You must have heard of the Newham 10k run, which raises money for charities. We are all taking part in the run on Sunday, 15th April to raise money for the Edridge Fund. The word is that some will run and very well and others will struggle with aplomb. </span> <br> <br><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Many of you will know about the excellent work of the Edridge Fund, but for those who do not know about it here are some key facts. The Edridge Fund was set up to give financial help to Probation and CAFCASS staff who are facing financial distress and hardship. It is supported by Napo, the Trade Union, but you do not have to be a member of Napo to get help from the Fund. In fact the Edridge Fund helps quite a few staff who are not Napo members.</span> <br> <br><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Last year the Edridge Fund had a 40% increase in applications for help, and paid out £53,000 in grants, which was over £10,000 more than the previous year. </span> <br> <br><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;">Please give generously to support your colleagues in this worthy cause.
