<div class="wrapper description" style="height: 363px; overflow: hidden; display: block;"> <p><span style="color: #1e1e28;"> <p>Libra&rsquo;s over-arching aim is to improve the quality of life for disabled and disadvantaged children overseas, while providing a wide range of UK sixth-form students with personal development in leadership, team work, planning and long-term commitment and loyalty.</p> <p>This innovative and child-centred programme is currently working across Romania in residential centres for abandoned and/or disabled children, with the impoverished and often segregated Rroma communities and with underprivileged Romanian children. Following year-round training and fundraising in the UK, the students spend two weeks in July working on one of the Libra projects.</p> <p>We are attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge on 16th July 2011 and all proceeds will go to this Charity.
