My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My good friend Edel O'Toole, Professor of Dermatology at Barts and the London Hospital, suggested to the fund raising team at the British Skin Foundation that I might be interested in running the 2012 London Marathon. I jumped at the chance without hesitation when Kelly Taylor from the fund raising team contacted me to offer one of the 3 places! I feel very privileged to be able to run the marathon to raise money for research into Skin Disease. Running in the London Marathon is such a wonderful, exciting experience and I intend to enjoy every minute on April 22nd. The training has been tough but I am motivated by the challenge and I am proud to fundraise and participate. All the money that you donate will be used to fund research into common and rare skin diseases. Every little bit helps and all your donations will be greatly appreciated.

The British Skin Foundation exists solely for the purpose of supporting research into skin disease. Working closely with patient support groups as well as many of the country's leading dermatology departments, the Foundation aims to help the 8 million people in the UK who suffer with a serious skin condition.
