Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

On 23rd April we are running the London
Marathon in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

We are running for BTR and dedicating
our efforts in memory of Ellie’s dear cousin Edward who died in January 2016 leaving
wife Alex, Isabelle now 11 and Nina aged 8, four siblings, his mum and dad,
aunt, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and many many friends.

Edward was an extremely funny, quick witted,
smart and active person who touched many. He too ran the London Marathon which makes
our efforts more poignant.

Another person in our thoughts will
be our friend Simon Turton who sadly died in 2011 at the age of 36 leaving his
little daughter Livy and his close knit family.

Currently research into brain tumours
receives less than 1% of the national spend on cancer research, despite more
children and adults under 40 dying of a brain tumour than any other
cancer.

Every donation made will be greatly appreciated.
