Dad, this is for you!

My dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia aged just 36, when I was 9 years old and unfortunately lost his battle against this awful disease aged 41 years old.    

I have always said I would never run but since watching my mum run the Virgin London Marathon the last couple of years and raise much needed donations for the Alzheimers Research UK who are desperately underfunded, this is my chance to do my bit.  I will feel so proud crossing the finish line knowing I have helped raise money towards vital research to hopefully one day enable suffers of this devastating disease a bit of hope and one day a cure.
