Palace to Palace 2018 · 7 October 2018 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Its happening - on October 7th, I will ride 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle alongside hundreds of other brave souls to raise money for a great cause.

The funds will go to The Prince's Trust and will be used to help young people who are struggling with things like homelessness, mental health and unemployment to find opportunities and build a better future.

I don't have any heartbreaking stories to tell - which is exactly why I care to remind myself how lucky I am to a) be alive, and to b) be where I am.

I have also never done this before, so will be fun (or so they say) to test my own limits.

To give you an idea of how the money can help:

£12 could help to give advice and support to four young people calling The Prince’s Trust helpline
£50 could provide childcare for a day to allow someone to attend a Prince’s Trust programme
£400 funds a place on a school club, helping a young person finish their education and reach their full potential

Thank you so much for supporting me, let's hope it doesn't rain!
