My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you all know i trained really hard last year for the London Marathon and a few weeks before the big day my ankle decided it didn't fancy running anymore, this was a very frustrating time for me as I was very focused and would breathe, eat and sleep the marathon through training, fundraising and adjusting my lifestyle to accomodate it. I was so disappointed when my physio told me I was out and that I wouldn't be running for at least 16 weeks but now im back and focused once again ready to run for a great charity called the Shaftesbury Young People.

Shaftesbury Young People provide children in care with a range of services and activities to support their needs these include: Adventourous outdoor learning for all ages, offering team building, personal challenges and social activities. They provide a range of flexible and targeted services to young people leaving care and in need from aged 16 plus. Providing childrens homes for young people aged 11-17 in several london boroughs, they reunite brothers and sisters who are living separarely due to care, they even provide education services so that the children can improve their education and employment outcomes.

As you can see this is a charity that is well worth supporting to give children who are at a slight disadvantage through no fault of their own the chance of an equal future as both you and I, so please dig deep and sponsor me and my hard work however little as every penny really will count towards my target of £1500.00. SO COME ON LETS DO IT FOR THE KIDS!!!!!

Thank You
