As many of you will know I signed up for the Manchester 10K this year and was gutted thinking it wasn't going to happen anymore.  My AMAZING friends have stepped in and said they will help to make it even more impressive and attempt to run a social distancing marathon relay with me!  

My dad has been diagnosed with mesothelioma (an asbestos cancer), which has been a gutting blow to the whole family!  We now live for the rainbow days and memories we can make together.  York against cancer have helped my dad (and family) so much with this, even allowing us to have a family holiday away together (the photo of my dad was taken on this holiday).  

It is so difficult not being able to see my dad (and family) during this pandemic and doing this will hopefully lift my dad's spirits and make him feel proud.
