Hello wonderful humans! 

Thank you for visiting my page, and supporting this cause. I will be performing in the Acting Ensemble of Singin' in the Rain, produced by Showtime Challenges for the fantastic cause of Lewy Body Dementia. We stage, rehearse and perform the production all within the space of 48 hours, with full cast of 100, orchestra, and production team - all for free. 

This is a very exciting opportunity to be involved in, and for a cause that is not only exceptionally valid, but also more dear to me than I first realised when applying for the show. Lewy Body Dementia is the second most common thread of neurodegenerative dementia, second to Alzheimers, and is widely misunderstood and misdiagnosed, with very little knowledge and awareness of it. The Lewy Body Society aim to fund research into the disease, whilst also providing community support to those suffering, their families and carers. 

Last year, my great aunt, a grandmother to me, died after living with vascular dementia. She was a fiercely intelligent, independent and successful woman, who hid her disease until there was no way to hide it any longer. It is a debilitating disease to live with, and heart-wrenching to see someone you love losing control of who they are, what they can do, and how their life begins to fall apart from within.
